BriteSmile Whitening

There are aspects of aging that we just can’t stop. One is the gradual darkening of our teeth. Time, food and beverages, tobacco use, and insufficient oral hygiene stain our enamel. Tooth wear erodes enamel and allows the yellow dentin beneath to show through. These yellowing effects make us look older than we are, and convey a message of poor oral health. Fortunately, we don’t have to put up with a darkened smile. BrightSmile Whitening will restore teeth to a natural level of whiteness without making demands on your time.

While whitening at home will produce eventual results, we like to see our patients’ smiles refreshed as quickly as possible. With an in-office whitening treatment, your teeth will be whitened by up to 14 shades in the span of three 20-minute to 1-hour treatments. A gentle hydrogen peroxide gel will be applied to your teeth, and then activated by a specialized blue light for efficient whitening.

Teeth whitening is a wildly popular cosmetic dental treatment, and it’s appropriate for so many patients. Many find that simple whitening has a greater overall effect on their smiles than they believed it could accomplish.

Dental Bonding

Bonding is the process of adding material to teeth that are lacking structure. It is performed with tooth-colored, durable composite resin. The resin will not be noticeable in any way; it will blend perfectly with the rest of your smile. Dental bonding may be used to repair

  • Cracked teeth
  • Chipped teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Discoloration
  • Sensitive teeth
  • Exposed tooth roots

Dr. Baudean will typically not need to remove any tooth structure in order to bond resin to the tooth surface. In this way, bonding performs some of the same tasks as veneers and crowns without the component of tooth reduction. Bonding is enviable for its low price, quick procedure, and aesthetic qualities. Because porcelain is stronger than resin, we may recommend restorations in lieu of bonding if the affected areas are a part of the occlusal surface.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are v-shaped, tooth-colored restorations that are bonded over your front teeth. These can accomplish a wide range of changes for your smile, adjusting its shape, shade, tooth length, symmetry, and more. Veneers offer a smile makeover that looks completely natural and lasts for years to come.

CEREC Crowns

Porcelain crowns rebuild damaged or worn teeth to restore your smile. We offer the CEREC same-day crown fabrication system to reduce the number of appointments necessary and streamline the crown process. You’ll be able to receive the full course of treatment – from tooth prep to crown bonding – within a single day.
